How to Keep Going During Good and Bad Times

How to Keep Going During Good and Bad Times
April 9, 2020

It seems like the world is getting darker every day. We know that being creative isn’t easy to begin with. However, here are some ways to help! This is mainly writen during the time we are staying at home due to COVID-19.

Every day is a new day

Take one day at a time. None of us know what is going to happen from one day to the next. Make the most out of every day. The creative process is also not linear. There is no clear way from point A to B

Build a Bliss Station or Time

Dedicate a space or time to disconnect to connect to your craft or work. This is important as creating a constant you can control can lead to amazing things over time. Pro tip: this can also help you if you want to find time to pray.

Make Gifts

Putting a purpose behind what you are doing can lead to some awesome outcomes. This also lets you keep your passion behind what you do. You can try new things without judgement.

Tidy Up!

In the creative process, there is a balance of neatness and messiness. By tidying up, you can declutter your area to feel more productive or come across something else to spark some new ideas or thoughts. It is more about making connects than anything to be honest!

The Ordinary + Extra Attention = Extraordinary

You already have everything you need. Make the common things uncommon. This can lead to you being more resourceful and learning new ways to do things or solve a problem. Especially right now while most of us are at home.

None of these are hard rules. There are no right or wrong answers to spark creativity again. These are just some of the things that have helped us during these times and hopefully we can even get a bit deeper in these for you. We hope it helps and every is staying safe if they can! Go create and try to make the best of a situation.
